Monday 4 December: the annual "Eat As Much As You Want" dinner in Yokohama Chinatown, this time at Daichinro, with Hanako & Terre - 2100 yen (9 pounds) per head for 2 hours, drinks extra, and every dish is cooked to order.
Some dim sum, mostly seafood, to start with - which we just about remembered to photograph...

Discussing digital cameras.

Hanako eyeing Usako, Terre eyeing Kousa (making sure they won't eat all the dim sum?!)
This tofu dish was great, so we remembered our cameras again: deep-fried (covered with cornflour mixed with spices??), served with spicy, very garlicky sauce poured over it. Biscuit-crisp on the outside, very soft inside.
The dish on the right, deep-fried fish & garlic stems, was delicious too, so was the broccoli simply fried with garlic, in front. (Good thing we all love garlic?!)
We must have ordered around 15 dishes (all good - very chunky prawn pieces & tender squid! Hanako said the pig's feet were good too.) Unfortunately, we were too busy eating & chatting to take any more photos - until we ordered the desserts (basically nearly everything on the menu!)

Mmm...

Oops, even more have arrived!

Terre doing an artistic shot of UsaKousa, with Shanghai nightscape in the background.

These custard pies are the right size for UsaKousa, but Hanako eats up the last one...
After the dinner, we shared a take-away ice cream, while having a little walk through the park by the sea.

A ship (very blurred.)

Another "photographing each other" shot.
