We drive through the village of Gøta, where the G! Festival is going on (we'll be back here on Saturday...) It's a very old village and some of the oldest houses on the islands are found here.

Another church.

Moon in the sky.
Back on Streymoy, our driver/guide take us up on a little mountain road, as far as we can go before being totally stuck in the clouds.
At around 400m above sea level we get out of the car - we're surrounded by fast moving clouds. Again, the nature hits you with such an overwhelming power, I'm glad I'm not here alone!

On our drive down, we're still partly in the cloud...

...and out again.

Coming back into town: even the new Opera House has a turf roof!

Looking over the town of Tórshavn & the idland of Nólsoy.
Now time for something to eat - which is not easy, as many places here shut so early. Tonight we are in luck and find a nice little restaurant called Merlot where we enjoy this assorted fish & seafood in lobster sauce, with rice and veg. Mmmm, just what we needed :-)
Afterwards we go for a little walk & fresh air by the harbour, before a nightcap in the hotel bar. Both the sky and the water is nice pink colour.

Smyril Line ferry that sails from here to Bergen, Aberdeen, Iceland, Shetland and Denmark.
