Monday 30 January: Having gone to bed early, we have time for a quick visit to the Fish Market in the morning :-))))

Signs outside a cafe by the harbour.

There are only a few stands open, all selling kamtchatka crab legs, claws of some other crabs, lobsters, prawns, various fish, fake caviar, etc. etc. At this one I buy a "small" leg, which they chop up for me for easy consumption.

Back at the hotel: UsaKousa are not sure how to deal with this huge claw.

Akiko, on the other hand, is extremely happy to try it.

It's hard work getting all the flesh off the shell, but it's worth it! The leg tasted better than the claw, btw.

Using a chopstick to get at the small corners, I've done a pretty good job eating all the edible bits. (Apologies for the blurry photo.)
Then it's time to head to the airport. Unfortunately our flight to Copenhagen is first delayed, and then cancelled, so we end up hanging around for ages...
Kids' chairs in the airport cafeteria.

Beautiful view over Norway as we fly south from Bergen.

Copenhagen airport: we have an hour to kill, but we don't mind - we can drink and smoke here!!!
