This is how Baumkuchen is made.
In the evening, fugu party at home. One of the guests brought a couple of dishes he'd prepared...

Pumpkin in creamy sauce, fugu sashimi at the back.

Spicy daikon & shiitake mushrooms.

And he served us all evening. The hot pot with fugu, tofu & veg, inc. the super expensive matsutake mushrooms. To finish off, we added some rice.

He also brought baked sweet potatoes for Akiko & UsaKousa :-)
Tuesday 21 November: local kaki fruit: very big (and cheap too.)
