Gifu, 4 April: Cherry leaf flavoured rice with cherry blossom & bamboo shoots, at lunchtime.

In the evening, we go out for a big Chinese dinner, where I'm too busy to document the food, except for these stuffed crab claws...

...and steamed tomatoes, stuffed with soft fish cake flavoured with chilli cod roe (hence the pink colour), chrysanthemum petals on top.
Later, in a bar - it's karaoke time (which means I was seriously drunk!)

Gifu, 5 April: in the morning - with a slight hangover - I looked out of the window and thought I saw a couple of cute rabbits...

It was obviously a rabbits day - at Kawamura at lunchtime, both the tea cups and soy sauce dispenser had rabbits on them :-)

(And please don't mention the filthiness of the girls...)
