We've reached the third venue, Kodai-ji. From here we have a good view of the famous 5-layer tower of
To-ji Temple (and Kyoto Tower to its right too), so it's time for another tourist shot.
While we're taking the photos, Yuko and her friends catch up with us.

This temple, also built on a steep hillside, is a beautiful place. Unfortunately we have to rush
through its grounds, to get to the Karakasa-tei tea house right at the top of the hill,
where Wolfgang Leib (Germany)'s piece is shown. At least we've managed this quick shot by
the temple's main building, but we'll have to come back for a proper look around some time...

Walking back down afterwards - through a beautiful bamboo forest.

We make it to the final venue, Saigyo-an, another little tea house, just in time before
they close at 4PM, but don't get to take a photo... Oh well.
By the way, matsutake mushrooms are in season right now, but they are very expensive.
One of Yuko's friends has brought a whole bag full of them from Tokyo, we've got a share of it
and have been walking around Kyoto all day with this mushroom in our bag!

In the evening we go out for a dinner with the artists, where we are too busy eating,
drinking and chatting to properly document the food, except for this freshly made tofu (very
good!)
We should really rename the event:
Kyoto Art Walk/Eat/Drink '05...
